		<description>I agree with everything that you said.  I just wanted to add that working with fish, nothing makes me more angry than seeing livestock standing in the middle of streams, it completely screws up the biological community of that stream.</description>

		<description>The &lt;a href="http://womenshealthandenvironment.org" rel="nofollow"&gt;Women's Health and the Environment Conference&lt;/a&gt; held last Friday included a lot of information about how, essentially, companies with a lot of money don't have to prove that they are producing safe products. Issues discussed stretched from food to pesticides to plastics to cosmetics. I'd encourage all your readers--women and men--to check it out, particularly if you or someone you know is pregnant or has small children. The government's not protecting us right now, so we've got to do it ourselves...while we work on changing the government, of course.</description>

		<description>I could understand if the FDA said "you have 30? days to start handling this yourself, but if you don't we will be in her on day 31, and you do NOT want that to happen." 

If the farms knew that the FDA had no problem ripping them to shreds, then they probably would start "self policing", but what do you expect when it takes YEARS? for them to get involved. 

I guess that was alot just to say that I agree.</description>
