Hi - thanks for posting the Rachel's Sustainable Feast info. I organize this event so I hope you and all your readers are able to come. It's a fun afternoon, featuring everything great going on in our own backyards. With so many farmers commited to sustainable and organic agriculture - plus all the great hot chefs who buy locally - not to mention all the terrific organizations who are dedicated to clean up the air we breathe, the water we drink and the soil we grow in - SW Pennsylvania is a pretty great place to live. The Feast's goal is to connect as many people with all these wonderful resources. And, of course, to promote Rachel Carson's legacy
* Live in harmony with nature
* Preserve and learn from natural places
* Minimize the effect of man-made chemicals on the natural systems of the world, and
* Consider the implications of human actions of the global web of life.
