Thanks for the awesome blog! I came across this post re:mongoose meat and it made me think of the quest I have been on since coming back from Peru earlier this year…trying to find Alpaca meat. Not only is it universally hailed as being super-nutritious and healthy, but it tastes awesome! One of the best meals of my life (and I’ve had some pretty good meals) was an alpaca osso bucco at Astrid y Gaston in Lima, Peru. Do you know if alpaca meat is available for sale in the US or, more importantly, in the Detroit area? Thanks in advance!
