Food Fact
Popcorn is a whole grain.
I know—it’s totally intuitive once you think about it: the whole kernel is popped, so what else could it be but a whole grain?
That having been said, the fact one is getting recommended nutritional value with it will never justify according to any even semi-logical nutritional analysis the singlehanded consumption of half a stick of butter.

Popcorn can be consumed WITHOUT butter or salt! I know this is a difficult concept for some people to grasp, but it can be done. Should one decide to eat popcorn this way, it becomes a very healthy, low calorie snack.

ew. popcorn without butter or salt? What’s the point? I figure as long as I’m having real butter and not the fake stuff in movie theater popcorn, it’s somehow justifiable.
